At ReKinected, we are committed to supporting the health, movement, and well-being of the people in our community. We believe physical therapy goes beyond recovering from injury. It also means restoring confidence in movement and returning to meaningful activities that give life purpose. Through evidence-based practice and Applied Functional Science, we listen, we guide, we empower, and we re-kinect individuals to their goals.
At ReKinected, we understand that the human body is interconnected and must work together to allow for optimal function and performance. Our team is trained in Applied Functional Science to deliver efficient, goal-oriented care and movement programming that supports a wide range of needs — from rehabilitation to performance and overall movement quality.

We provide individualized, one-on-one sessions led by movement specialists and Doctors of Physical Therapy, allowing us to tailor care and training to each person’s goals. MEET OUR TEAM
Dr. Sean Siemens graduated with his doctorate in physical therapy from the University of Saint Augustine in San Diego. In addition to his DPT, Sean is a Certified Applied Functional Science (CAFS) practitioner who combines manual therapy, education, and movement to help empower his patients to move freely and live fearlessly. As a former collegiate soccer player, spartan athlete, and weightlifter Sean believes that all people deserve the right to move pain free and perform at their best. Sean has worked with a wide variety of clientele from professional athletes to weekend warriors, and provides both rehabilitation and athletic training to support performance, resilience, and long-term management of chronic pain.
Dr. Connor Munro graduated with his doctorate in physical therapy from the University of Southern California in Los Angeles. In addition to his DPT, Connor is a Certified Applied Functional Science (CAFS) practitioner. As a former collegiate baseball player and avid weightlifter, Connor wants to see his patients reclaim their bodies and reach their individual goals through comprehensive patient education and the use of purposeful, personalized exercise. He believes in a holistic approach to health and implements a variety of techniques and strategies throughout a plan of care. Connor’s background is in outpatient orthopedics and pediatrics, working with patients of all ages and abilities. He also has an extensive background in athletics and personal training, having worked with patients of all skill levels in developing return-to-sport and personal fitness programs.
Dr. Tristan Bledsoe is a lifelong San Diegan who earned both his undergraduate and doctoral degrees at San Diego State University. In addition to his DPT, he is currently pursuing an Applied Functional Science certification. As someone who grew up playing baseball, basketball, and football, Tristan understands the importance of being able to do the things you enjoy at the best of your ability. Through hands-on manual techniques, education, and a selection of personalized therapeutic exercises he hopes to help you move throughout your daily life in a pain free and efficient manner. In addition to working with patients in outpatient orthopedics, Tristan has experience in sport and vestibular populations. Outside of the clinic you will likely find Tristan outdoors on the golf course, on his mountain bike, in the ocean, or riding his snowboard on the mountain as the temperature dips down!
Dr. Jackson Reiss graduated with his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from MGH Institute of Health Professions in Boston, MA. He is also an NSCA Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS), which has shaped his approach to care, believing that everyone is an athlete and deserves to train, move, and perform at their highest potential for as long as possible. Jackson is an East Bay Area native where he grew up playing competitive basketball and is an avid Bay Area sports fan (go Niners and Warriors!). Through multiple injuries experienced while playing sports, Jackson became passionate about not only how to optimally rehab from an injury, but also how to work on reducing the risk of future injuries through proper movement coordination and strength. Having personally navigated the frustrations of injury and movement limitations, Jackson emphasizes individualized plans that blend athletic performance training to help you return to the activities and sport you love.
Dr. Christian Vu graduated with his Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy from George Washington University in Washington D.C.. He’s a Bay Area native with a love for all things sports and food; outside of PT you’ll often find him rooting for the 49ers, SF Giants, Lakers, and his Alma mater the Oregon Ducks! With his experience treating various patients, he will work with you to create a personalized rehabilitation plan that combines manual therapy and exercise to get you back to what you love. Whether you’re recovering from an injury or looking to improve your athletic performance, he’s dedicated to empowering you to be the best version of yourself!
Dr. RJ Valdez earned his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences in San Diego. His clinical approach integrates manual therapy, functional movement training, and patient education to address the root causes of pain and improve physical performance. Dr. Valdez is committed to delivering individualized, evidence-based care focused on restoring mobility, enhancing strength, and preventing future injury. He emphasizes a collaborative treatment model, encouraging patients to be active participants in their recovery while equipping them with the knowledge and tools for long-term success. His practice is grounded in clinical excellence, compassionate care, and a dedication to helping individuals return to meaningful activity with improved movement quality and lasting independence.
Dr. Jessica Garcia earned both her undergraduate degree and Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) from San Diego State University. She is currently pursuing a certification in Applied Functional Science to further enhance her ability to provide dynamic, movement-based care. Growing up as a competitive athlete in soccer and volleyball, Jessica developed a deep understanding of the demands of high-level performance and what it takes to perform at your best, as well as the challenges of recovery. With a father who is also a physical therapist, Jessica was introduced to the world of rehabilitation at an early age, fueling her passion for movement, performance, and healing. She is committed to helping her patients overcome pain, restore function, and return to activities they love. Whether working with athletes, active adults, or anyone looking to improve their mobility and quality of life, she believes in personalized, goal-oriented care that empowers individuals to achieve their full potential.
Originally from New Jersey, Dr. Gabriella McCann received both her doctorate and undergraduate degrees at San Diego State University. After spending 8 years as a professional ballet dancer, she decided to pursue a career in physical therapy. Her background in dance instilled a deep rooted passion for movement and body mechanics to help optimize performance. Whether you are a dancer or athlete recovering from an injury or an active adult navigating chronic pain, Gabriella provides compassionate, individualized, and evidence-based care. Her goal is to provide each patient with the skills to move with greater ease, confidence, and connection to their body to allow them to return to their peak performance ability. When outside the clinic, Gabriella enjoys spending time at the beach, training for triathlons, and exploring the amazing food scene San Diego has to offer!
Dr. Jacquelyn Martin graduated with high honors from the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences in California. While pursuing her doctorate in PT, she volunteered at the U.S. Open Adapted Surf Championships, a Pro-Bono Pediatrics Clinic, Rock Steady Boxing, and coached beach volleyball at a local high school. Prior to becoming a PT, she earned her Bachelor’s in Kinesiology from Cal Poly SLO where she played on the D1 Beach Volleyball team, founded the club beach program, and studied abroad in San Sebastián, Spain. Dr. Martin is passionate about orthopedic and sports rehabilitation and loves helping the Encinitas community stay active and healthy. In her free time, she enjoys playing volleyball, surfing, hiking, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.
